ok to use nizoral 1% everyday?

for some reason, my hair seems healthier after i use nizoral. it seems more manageable. I also do not have any itches or discomfort in my scalp by using it. If this is the case, would it be beneficial for me to use it everyday? or even everytime i take a shower?

I like my hair also after I use nizoral but I think every day is overkill. this is a serious chemical that you are using to combat fungus and my be detrimental if you do use it everyday. I would stick to every 3rd shampoo or so. Just add a nice voluminizing conditioner.

for some reason, nizoral seems to give my hair more volume, even more than the volumizing shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo and conditioner makes my hair nice and soft and light, while nizoral makes it kindy frizzy, dry, but it seems to have more volume after nizoral though.

i agree with you. Its my understanding that when you use nizoral that the effect is that it dries out your hair resulting in a 'frayed' type hair. for example when you take a rope and run a knife up and down on it you 'fray' the edges resulting what would appear to be a thicker hair shaft. I really like the effect that nizoral has on my hair also.

Personally I believe there is no problem using it everyday if it doesnt cause any irritation to your scalp.

The 1-2 times per week recommended on the bottle is its recommended frequency to be effective against dandruff, but this doesnt mean its harmful to use more often.

My bottle of NANO recently ran out and I've been using 2% nizoral everyday for the last 3 weeks and havent noticed any problems.

Nizoral shampoo used to be a prescription only substance. For that reason alone I would consider

a. Doing alot of research on the matter

b. Talk to some doctors and Dermatologists about what your planning to do. You should ask them why they have the views they do. Listen to the information not the person.
