i'm curious. does the military brainwash you completely?send in the poor to die for the rich so that the rich can stay in power as they brainwash poor people to think what they're doing is patriotic and not the fact that they use poor people to keep rich people in power..i'll get flamed for this, but it's the truth...with all due respect for people who have died for us to be free.. i know someone who served during world war 2. he came back...received no help...that's what he got in return for fighting the war. they don't give a sh*t about anyone

I could never be a soldier. I couldnt handle the idea that I am dropping a 2000 pound bomb on a persons house which may have kids in there. But then again, majority of the times all we do is press a button that fires the missile and never really see what we are killing. Its so true about our veterans they get the short end of the stick, once the war is over your not that important. Many people have a hard time realizing this. Most of our troops never want to see combat, its those mofos that have 45 shotguns in their basement and go out hunting every day, we call them cowboys!! Its those people that get the rest of us killed!
By the way I could never go into the military, that would mean I would have to shave my head which would leave me no hair to cover up my temples :roll:

NA THE MAJORITY OF PEEPS JOINING THE MARINES IN CLUDING MY COUSIN ALL JOINED CUS THEY COULDNT HOLD A JOB AND THEY NEEDED SOMETHING TO TAKE THEM IN. my cousin is pretty much insane. very serious paranoid schizophrenic as am i. not on such a big scale hoeva. and he wanted to join to kill people pretty much. sounds messed up but a LOT of people find it fun and exhilirating to go out and kill people with an m16, and find nothing wrong with that. personally i think i may join soon, if i get killed it will suck but who cares. you only live once right.the marines just seems like the thing for me. does any one know that if your a documented with any mental illness if they can reject you?

i read something on how people who join the military don't expect to go fight a war,..and they do it as something to fall back on..like ded says...amazingly. when war time comes,..all of them regret joining the military..it is all brainwashing.. they tell our soldiers who the enemy is and how they must die.. the opposing country tells their troops the same thing. in the end, they die because of their government. yet they're tricked to think it's being patriotic. it many times it's because the leaders just don't like each other. i mean how the f*** can a goverment say it's ok to kill people if they say so, but not kill people here who might do the same thing. they play god.. true story...in previous wars, you were excluded from going to war if you went to college (only rich kids went to college back then)..nowadays everyone goes to college, and they tried to reverse the law prohibiting people who go to college should go to war because everyone now goes to college. world war 2 was necessary, but other wars like vietnam , we had no business being there. the government knew this but sent people there to die..not expecting it to be that difficult. now in iraq, more soldiers are being killed after the war then during it. and iraq will never have order. they have suicide bombing for decades..it will continue..whatever though.. go fight for your country..but the government don't give 2 shits about you.. you should give a sh*t about yourself and think of yourself first. i mean who gets praised after a war is won? the general..people who stayed in the back..not the people who fought the war. sure they got a wall, but they aren't really remembered. this is something that can go on forever..this debate won't change minds.. sure there's positive things to see on both sides,..but i refuse to waste my life and get sh*t on after a war if i survive and get nothing in return by the government but trauma, etc like so many veterans have gotten..

yes that is true but i disagree saying wars such as vietnam and the conflict right now are not nescessary. we in the us take for granted that we have a government that pretty much protects us and our rights. in other countries this is not the case. the people there live in constant fear and law is a joke. i feel that with all our power it would be a crime against humanity to just stay to ourselves and let the rest of the world take care of their own conflicts. because the problem will only get worse. if we never got involved in foreign conflicts many more lives would be lost or ruined than with a war. and sure the innocent do die but not in vain.i feel the only way we are going to be without war in the world is when we make those stupid fucks realise that they need a democracy and stable law. i feel our involvement in foreign affairs will continue for a very long time. will it fix anything? prolly not, but it needs to be done. its the same concept as people flocking to an oil spill to help all the animals get cleaned up and returned to the wild. sure the animals have no idea they are being helped and it causes them great stress but in the end it was for the better.

i don't believe in fighting wars unless we're attacked.. that's a different story. the people in iraq, vitenam, etc.. are all c****.. believe it or not but they hate us even though we're helping them...saddam had to be the way he is to keep them in check. yes saddam is a huge c***, but it's not our business to be there. if we do something to help other countries, it's always to get something in return..keep that in mind..because that's how it's always been. don't be misguided anymore than you already are

ah, the u.s. died a long time ago in my opinion. no one speaks english anymore..and it's all trash from other countries making america look like sh*t. the succesful foreigners don't even come here anymore. i know how to speak spanish, but it f*****g pisses me off that spanish people come here and expect me to know spanish when they talk to me...and they don't even try to learn english..they take the jobs of americans by working for less money, they overpopulate (for example, hindus overpopulated india to starvation now they're basically doing the same thing here..you hardly see hindus who don't have kids with them or are pregnant ever..and they only sell their businesses to their own)...i'm starting to sound racist, but i'm really not. i just hate seeing sh*t like this happen and no one realises until it's too late

i have a gorgeous g\f for 3 years..never had a problem with women..at all. about drinking and drugs.. i don't do them anymore.. nor do i stay at parties long..why? because going to parties isn't fun when you're taken...and i'm not the kind of c*** who cheats on my g\f's..even though i do come across a lot of opportunities.. that's just me though.. i'm not going to throw away a good thing for some sl*t who'd f*** me in one day. anyways, i just go to shows to see bands nowadays.. a lot of my friends are in bands..i've been in 3 in my life.. i'm personally looking forward to the life of agony reunion at birch hill on august 2nd
