I want to clarify, I am 19 years old and I lost my hair in a brutal, very aggressive way.
I'm a very rare case, I've never seen another like me
My hair loss was very early, at the age of 13 I was already the first third or there was nothing IMG_20210225_165944 (1).jpg
at 7 years old, despite the black and white photo we can see that we can see my skull

and a photo of me today:frontale (2).jpg

How do you explain his? That my loss started so young?

I sympathize with you bro. Mine is not that agressive, but we all here share the same pain. I've just read your other post and yikes... it amazes me how frivolous parents can be when it comes to hair loss. They usually say that you have a lot of hair, that you are being paranoid, but only you know you, and if you are asking for help you're aware that there is something wrong. And heck, if it's genetic they are somewhat involved.

Maybe try duta since fina hasn't worked for you. Peace, you're gonna win this brother

Thank you very much :) yes I will try the duta and I hope you will be ok too.

This forum helps me a lot to feel better, to see that people can understand me and that we are all gathered to help each other have a more downhill life by fighting hair loss

Do you have any inflammation or skin issues? I think you might have an underlying condition which your hair loss is secondary to. You hit heavy loss too early, and it doesn't seem to have a genetic link.

Do you have a hard time gaining weight?

I don't think I have any inflammation I never noticed anything strange on my head.

The only thing that shocked me is the large amount of "squasm", a kind of dead skin, small white dots that fall when I scratch my head for example. I remember when I was a teenager and it still happens to me I could scratch my head and cover my table with dead skin lol

Can you explain this weight thing and how it is related to the hair? I eat like a pig but I can't gain any weight

I have 2 theories.

The first is hyperthyroidism, which is often overlooked because the early symptoms are beneficial... fast metabolism, lots of energy. It has links to hair loss.

"
Listed below are some of the many symptoms that could signal an overactive thyroid.

Weight loss in the absence of dietary restrictions and exercise
Hand Tremors
Difficulty focusing and concentrating
Frequent bowel movements/ typically loose
Thinning hair and excess loss/shedding
Increase in sweating
Heart palpitations
Dry eyes
Thyroid growths called Goiters
Enlarged protruding eyes
Sensitivity to light
Insomnia
Menstrual problems"

The secondy theory is malabsorption. There is an obvious link betwen malabsorption and hair loss due to being deficient in nutrients needed to support proper hair growth.

Please buzz cut to a number one. Continue to treat your hair loss but you cannot walk around like that.

Don't buzz, chances are it will look worse tbh. You have enough hair to 100% hide your thinning if you properly use concealers and learn to style your own hair. You are working with more than I have, and no one would ever guess I had any hair thinning or loss when I leave the house with concealers. The main trick is knowing how to apply it for situational events, and ALWAYS put it on under the harshest of light conditions and use a hand mirror, not your camera phone, to check it at ALL angles.

I've worked with 3 hair styles, the messy look, the classic side part (easiest to make look great if you know how to cut your own hair, it is my icon picture), and my current which is john wick style and length... except I have to move the part 2 inches off middle if I'm going on rollercoasters or getting drenched.

Lmao if you’ve got less hair than OP you’ve only got enough hair for one style. It’s called the zombie.

Don’t become a prisoner to all that topik sh*t. Your NW0 uncle will be feeling even more sorry for you. Buzz it. It’s more effective for treatments such as topicals and derma rolling anyway.

No, you are making assumptions about my situation based on your own situation and apparently very limited knowledge. I have diffuse thinning, but complete coverage. I don't have bald spots, I have patches of miniaturization which thicken up to full hair with dermmatch, which is water proof and survives rollercoasters every weekend. I only use fibers as a touch up if I want to alter my look a bit. My hairline is also 90% intact, the with just a small spot where it is slightly less dense, but easy to style around. Some people thin a bit and give up, often looking a sh*t ton worse... I'm not 1 of those people.

I guarantee if we were both out somewhere, you'd have no clue I had a single hair issue and you'd be envious of my hair. I've reviewed your post history... you give a lot of bad / troll advice and feedback.

Go to a dermatologist. Get tested for anything that might cause hair loss. Since your family history is good and you’ve been losing hair at such a young age, you may be experiencing a different sort of alopecia

For those who think that shaving their hair is the solution, know that I have already tried, its was one of the worst mistakes of my life.

I wanted to break the mirror every time I saw myself, and I was not at all in line with current society.

I have the impression that I'll never get out of it, it's almost obvious that I don't have a baldless male pattern, at 7 you could already see my skull yet the doctors don't care, it's aesthetic and they look at my head for a few seconds and are sure I have a male pattern baldness ..

I will try to have a COMPLETE hormonal and blood workup, what do you advise me to ask, what is most important to check?

How long have you been with finas and minoxidil?
6 month minoxidil and 5 five fina.

Have your thyroid checked. If they ask why, give any symptoms you have from the list I previously posted. Also just do an overall bloodwork checkup, it should be a few pages and post that here. We'll go through it and see what you might be deficient in and need supplements for. A lot of people blindly take supplements or DHT blockers without knowing their numbers. Finasteride is great IF you have high numbers, if not then you are f*****g with hormones that don't need to be fucked with which could lead to other issues without even giving the benefit of hair.

In the meantime, look into dermmatch. You'd be surprised how good your hair could look if you style it properly and use some concealer. It'll give you your confidence back while we figure out how to work with your issue... but you definitely don't just have male pattern baldness, which is a good thing because your regrowth potential is better that way.

Idk why people confidently say that it’s not male pattern baldness. I had a close friend have less hair then this at 19. He looks very good bald. If it’s bothering you see a dermatologist and use finasteride and minoxidil.
