Been lifting and training hard for roughly 6 years now. Looking to get some more results out of the gym for the amount of time I put into it. Probably only going to do a low dose test only cycle (200-300mg)
I've done my fair share of research and know that testosterone has an anabolic to androgenic ratio of 100-100 which for a male pattern baldness prone guy like myself, there will be increased test to DHT. I have been taking finasteride for 3 years and also use minoxidil and nizoral. I have a pretty strict and healthy diet.
My main question is using my current regime with the addition of a low dose of exogenous testosterone enough to offset the hair loss for a 12-20 week cycle? I know anabolics and hair loss go hand in hand but I think that with proper preventive measures I should be able to get away with what is considered one of the most mild cycles there is.
Another question: I recently had a small FUE transplant to fill in temple recession 2 months ago. I am waiting for it to fill in and it doesn't look good right now (obviously since it has only been 2 months) but will the addition of exogenous testosterone inhibit or have any effect on the growth of the transplant? I would think not as the transplanted hairs are DHT-resistant. Just wondering if additional T would increase/decrease the growth of the transplanted hairs.
Thanks.
