The big question, is this a stock or custom unit made from a template? Stock units are made for average, round head shapes. The comments made by the second stylist leads me to believe it's stock, or custom made from measurements and not a template.

The ONLY way to get a hair system base to fit you perfectly is to start with a correctly done tempate. Otherwise you willl get ripples, lifting, etc.

Precut molds + measurements don't replace a properly made template.

It takes 15/20 minutes to do, I think it's a lazy way out NOT to do one.

@BaldBearded - (sighs) Yeah, I'm thinking there is a good bit of logic to your logic. Clearly my memory could be better, but either way nothing nearing even 15 minutes was put into my measurements. See I think this is all stemming from the fact that A; I'm notoriously patient, which can have some drawbacks... And 2, because there's just SO many variables to take into account with all this, well here we are.

But knowing what both stylists have said, and that it's pretty much the reason why I'm having the issues, clearly we have to nip this in the bud. Now my next system comes in mid May-ish, and there's no frickin way I'm going to wait almost two months for that only to continually have these issues... And pay for them! So on Tuesday when I go back, I'm going to see if for my next appointment in April, I can get my next system... And try to really lock down these measurements and make sure they're supplier knows this.

Maybe a different vendor?
