Hello folks

I wonder if any of you can help me out there?. I started using proscar about 18 months ago and shortly after I noticed my skin had got bumpy and I was getting more spots than I had as a teenager!!!. Now I know that Proscar is altering my hormones and I've seen the odd message on this board referring to the same symptons, yet no one seems to give an answer on how to stop this, other than quitting proscar ofcourse which I dare not doo !!!

Since taking proscar I have rarely used any form of other tablets for fear of reversing the proscar, not even a headache tablet!!! sad or what but this is what us hair loss sufferers put ourselves through.

I'm now 28 and I would like to know if anyone has suffered the same symptons as me and cured it, without affecting Proscars work ofcourse?

Any help would be greatly appreciated folks :lol:

I noticed a slight improvement in my crown when I started using Proscar 1mg daily. I think the proscar seems to be retaining rather than growing new hair. I have recently started using Minoxidil twice daily and Nizoral every 3 days so I'm going to see if this improves my hair.

Have you suffered the same symptons ?

My crown is not balding at all (knocking on wood) Just my temple areas and my forhead is getting bigger :roll:
