Shedmaster, how have your temples filled in and how were they when you started applying minoxidil to them? Did you notice slight improvements in the 2-4 month mark?

Well my temples were not all that bad when I started. I did notice some regrowth very early in treatment in my right temple. Several terminal hairs followed by a field of velous hairs. However, that stalled a little bit. I'm now in my 5th month and overall my hair has gotten much thicker overall. Not a substancial amount of regrowth but just thicker. Its hard to explain but my hair is in tremendously better condition. The reversal of hairloss, stabilization, then rebuilding the hair follicles followed by regrowth takes such a long time. The frontal region even takes the longest and the improvements are not always linear, that is, your hair might get worse several months in or have no change at all, then at the 6th or 8th or 12th months start showing substancial improvements even though you have given up hope.

Bruce lee told me something when I started which was quite simple but the most honest advice I have gotten. HE said, just start propecia/minoxidil/nizoral for 12 months and I bet you will be happy you did. So simple, yet so true.
