Propecia question!

Hi guys, I've just completed a year on Minoxidil 5% and Propecia 1mg (daily). I'm going to my dermatologist to review the situation and what to do next. I'm only 20. My hair loss has stopped and I haven't receded anymore which is the whole purpose right? But I also haven't got much regrowth at all :/ My hair still has a thin patch on the crown and temples and frontal hair still pretty bare. I'm really thinking about a hair transplant!! I've noticed for a year now since I started Propecia, I have not had barley any morning wood ever :/ And if I get it, it's really weak! My libido and erection state is not to bad, I mean I can get it up and stuff, but spontaneous erections don't seem to come by anymore :/ But maybe that's my age? I've also noticed that my semen when I haven't ejaculated a while, goes a sort of yellowy colour with tiny jellyfish clumps. However, no pain or anything like that! I'm trying to eat more protein in my diet as I'm looking to gain some muscle for sports so that might be it? I'm thinking that my sides are not to bad but I would like to get rid of them completely so I was thinking about taking Propecia 1mg, once every other day instead of daily? Do you think this would help to reduce sides even more? I'm not trying to be negative, I mean Propecia is a good drug and definitely is the best thing for fighting hair loss :) I just have some sides that I would like to completely diminish! I also heard about Propecia once every 3 days can be ok too? I'm going to discuss this with my dermatologist though and she what she says! She has also booked me in for a hormone/estrogen bood test just to check everything is fine and well because I've been on the tablets for a year now. Thanks for reading this! Cheers

everybody's different when it comes to what your natural libido levels are/would-be with/without propecia. myself, for example, towards the end of my college years, i only very occasionally experienced strong morning wood -- and this was without being on propecia at the time. you could try switching it up to be every other day to see if that helps. you can also try adding zinc to your diet, as i've heard that may help with libido.

i guess what i'm saying is that you shouldn't really freak out, because it may be an age thing (as it was with me). but there's no real 100% way to say if finasteride has/hasn't had any effect.
