Propecia w/ minoxidil??

I have been on propecia for a little over a month. After reading some posts I see that many people are also taking minoxidil w/ Propecia. Can they coexist and be effective or does taking both do more damage than good?

Dont bother with minoxidil... its a complete sl*t to apply, will rule your mind, reduce the natural quality of your hair, potentially shed what you have, and once you stop you'll lose everything. I hate it... others dont.

i hated it to.. exactly like you melbs... but after beeing of just a few days i cought myself wondering ALL the time:... was the minoxidil actually working? am i going to receed a LOT again now? was it stupid to stop? maybe the minoxidil COULD help my hairline to get just a LITTLE better? and so on..... So now i'm back on minoxidil... maybe its working maybe its not... somedays i will only apply at night... and I will stop thinking at the minoxidil all the time... i guess this will bring more peace to the mind, rather than have to wonder if it was a stupid discission to stop !!!!!

Maintain, maybe a little regrowth, possible on my receeding hairline.

If you want some regrowth then minoxidil may get you what you want. If sh*t aint too bad maybe finasteride will suffice for now.

I am diffusing like mad so I am applying minoxidil all over the top and it does kind of suck. I have shed more over the past few weeks but I think it is relaxing a bit now. I am about 5 weeks on minoxidil and 4 on finasteride so I cannot comment on effectiveness. If you just apply to the hairline then you will use very little, but will have somewhat of a greasy forehead for a bit until it dries
