I have been on finasteride for 2 years with ok results and on mino 5% for about 8 months. I have maintained most of my hair with a little regrowth over my left temple on the hairline (are real hairs now!) but only have miniturized hairs and few of them over my right temple. In addition, I have also been using tricomin regimen (shampoo, cond, and spray) for about 5 months.

My questions are
1. What should I add to my regimen to get some more regrowth on my hairline and above my temples? (btw, I do apply mino 5% 2x a day including to the hairline and above temples). It has been suggested that I use Proxiphen but I have also seen some decent reviews using spironolactone. Suggestions?

2. As I understand, proxiphen includes spironolactone in it along with some other topicals. Is this true and will results be better using proxiphen rather than spironolactone (cream)?

if you can afford proxiphen its a better bet. theres also a cheaper version - prox-n which has fewer ingredients but still contains spironolactone i think. all dr proctors products are supposed to be good.

go for proxiphen.

prox-n does not contain minoxidil, spironolactone and phenytoin.
