can someone tell me if Nisim Bio factors Or Min New York is a good solution for hair loss, or just maintaining what i have?

From what ive been reading is seems the general consensus is to use Nozoral along with rogaine foam and finasteride.

Can someone give me some input? im 26 years old, i still have a pretty good head of hair, fairly thick, and only a very slight receding hairline.

thank you,

Yeah....maybe use Nizoral but rogaine seems overkill for you IMO. You don't need regrowth so much as you need to slow down/stop hairloss. No need to use all of your ammo at one time. You can always add in rogaine later, right?

Keep in mind the fact is, there is little anyone can do to stop a receded hairline and losing some areas int he temple. But treatments can stop things from getting too noticeable.

yeah, im just paranoid, my gf tells me all the time. I still pretty much have a full thick head of hair, nothing really has changed since i was 16 expect maybe a very slight recede in the temple.

What scares me is that my father is bald, and he by my age (26) was already very noticeably balding, And i i want to do everything i can to prevent or slow down the process as much as possible.

Do you think its a good sign though, that ive maintained my hair at this age?
im gonna be 27 soon and i have more hair than some 20 year olds.

everyone, balding or not, will have a receding hairline. Its just a matter of when.

Try to take some close up pics of your hairline and crown (back of head) after your next shower (while still wet) in good lighting.

But I can tell you right now...if I saw you in public I would never think you were balding.

i was on NISIM for a year before i found this site. It seemed to slow down the shedding but i kept on thinning the year i used it. So not worth it imo.
Just do finasteride and nizoral and your good to go for some more years...

And if you absolutely want to shave the small arrow forming your hairline so you get a bit higer hairline but straight, do it daily/closer shave or it will just look plain stupid :dunno: A good old single blade razor whould be good for that.

well yeah my barber lines up my hairline, every urban barber you go to, they all pretty much do it, it just looks better than having a crooked hairline, Cause no one has a perfect hairline

on this site no one has perfect hairline LOL :bravo:

no but seriously your hair looks great from the images you gave.

what does it look like from the top?
are you diffusing or something because your hairline looks pretty intact.

i suspect you may be thinning in the very common temple region. and as cassin said

"Keep in mind the fact is, there is little anyone can do to stop a receded hairline and losing some areas int he temple. But treatments can stop things from getting too noticeable."

i think if your really scared about it i would consider finasteride. minoxidil is unnecessary at this point

i thought rogaine was also a method of prevention? or is it only to grow back hair? So i shouldnt even use nizoral? just stick to finasteride?

heres a couple more pics.

so you suggest i dont take anything? even though my father is bald? i just figured by taking finasteride, it would prevent or pro long the process. I dont want to wait till i start going bald to start doing something, i want to start now while i have my hair.

if i can beat it before it starts, maybe i wont ever have to worry about going bald.

do you get my drift? or do i sound crazy? lol.

thanks you your input, appreciate the help.

The fact that your father is bald doesn't necessarily mean that you will be.

You should not get on any medication if you're not losing your hair, which you are not. Chill out, live your life, and come back if you ever start losing it.

Maybe one day you'll need something but not yet. A slightly receded hair line is normal at your age. Doesn't mean you're balding yet.

Maybe you'll start balding next month or next decade. Who knows.

listen, i understand why you all seem to think i shouldn't be taking anything because im not balding. But I actually went to A Bosley medical in NYC when i was 21 (this is how paranoid i am lol)And you should of seen the face on the receptionist when i walked in, its was like "why are you here look".

But anyway, i saw a doctor and he said i'm not showing any signs yet of male pattern baldness. But i asked him if it was a good idea to take Propecia before i ever do start to bald, and hopefully reduce or servilely prolong the case if i should ever do start to lose my hair.

He said its a good idea, and i have been taking it ever since, and till this day, i still have all my hair, nothing has changed. My concept it to beat it before it starts, because i believe its easier to keep the hair you have, than to try to grow it back once its gone.

whos to say that if its helped? i dont know. would i still have the same hair if i never took it? i dont know, maybe i would still have a full head of hair if never took it. But i think it helps keep DHT levels in my boy low, and this help my keep the hair i already have, which is my primary focus.

your comparing apples and oranges. Its pretty much a fact that keeping the hair you already have is easier than growing it back once its gone, and even if it does grow back it wont be sufficient enough to make a drastic difference.

A DOCTOR himself told me that my idea was a good one, and for 6 years, not even a slight change to my hair, my hairline is the same, and the rest of my head is full of thick full hair. so how can you argue with that?

dude seriously, you sound a little bitter, its not a good look =)
