I'm 17 years old and I apologies for my poverty thread. My ipad is being a piece of **** and not allowing me to backspace.

1.ive currently got all my hair but I've got male pattern baldness on my mothers side. So if I start treatment as soon as I begin to bald, can I maintain a full head of hair?

2. Will natural DHT blockers work

The good news is there's no guarantee you will bald - it's totally unpredictable, you may keep a good full head of hair till old age, so keep optimistic.

My advice to any man when they hit 20 is to be vigilant - take photos of your crown area every 6 months or so, so you have a historical record and can notice any changes. Get somebody else such as your hairdresser to monitor your crown and ask them for their honest opinion.

If you genuinely think you're in the first stages of male pattern baldness, then get a hair specialist to confirm it and consider starting Finsteride/Propecia after consulting with a doctor.

and remember it's normal for your temples to recede a bit in your 20s - it doesn't mean you're about to get full blown male pattern baldness
