Receding at temples... right in particular after chronic stress and opiate withdrawal

Please forgive rushed nature of post... I wrote a huuuuge thing out and accidentally lost it all.

I'm 22, good shape, work out a lot, family all hairfull save for one uncle on mom's side who went bald at 40. Had brown, curly, oily hair all throughout college; very thick. For the past 9 months I had been having a thing with a girl who was manipulative, emotionally abusive... someone who would break up with you every week and take it back despite having just hurled a torrent of insults. Definitely a series of 'emotional shocks'. Still though, I didn't notice hairloss until after graduation. This summer was INSANELY stressful because I was scrambling to find a job, in a lame living situation, cut off socially for many reasons. Also got addicted to opiates for June-July and spent a couple weeks in a mild, but very ****ty withdrawal (I include this not for pity but because from my understanding it's a shock to the system and causes a rebound in suppressed testosterone levels).

It wasn't until july, during withdrawal, that I noticed recession mostly in right temple. It's seemed very rapid over past couple months (around when i quit using) and my hair seems to be thinning a lot on right side from whole temple to ear (scalp visible when wet, seen in pic) and there are a ton of new miniaturized hairs that show up on right temple and fall off in days. Left has a few... but is was less intense (hairline more receded on right too).

I looked at a picture of myself in early june (just when i started the habit) and hair looked okay (nothing like early junior year), but there was some slight spottiness in the temple (albeit not enough for me or anyone to notice at the time).

Now finally the stressors are ruled out... Got a job and all is fine. So i'm wondering...

Could it be very mild male pattern baldness combined with CTE... Can CTE mostly show up at temples or cause that recession? I'm mostly trying to figure out if this is male pattern baldness and how serious. Like is mostly temple loss always male pattern baldness?

If the withdrawal caused a DHT boost (no idea.. just guessing around) would my body balancing out in coming months slow or even reverse damage?

Already doing prevention as of recently iwth Nizoral and Nioxin. Rogaine made me break out in non-itch hives and I seem to be allergic to foam and liquid. Suggestions to alternatives welcome (fairly afraid of propecia but taking Saw palmetto). Anything else I should try? Here are some pics of my hair... red spot and ear shot are right side.

Also worth mentioning that it used to be very curly and unmanageable and now mostly sits flatish save for very front. Seems thicker and shinier than a few weeks ago but nioxin may just be helping appearances a lot. Also just started biotin.

Thanks for advice guys... and yes I know I did a dumb thing and am possibly paying for it with my hair you don't have to tell me.

In the past week I've noticed a lot of new hairs on my bed (many not even the decayed miniaturized ones). Oftentimes a hair would come out with bulb on it... though on my bed it seems mostly the non bulb kind.

Anyone? If not in regards to hormonal changes... At the very least some advice/info regarding my hairline?
