hi guys,
Been a long time since i checked this forum, I started on finasteride in march so about 8 months ago and have been seeing quite good results, my hairline was ok from the start but my hair's overall thinkness was thin and at the vertex area of my scalp was clearly visible, this was also the area that my head used to itch like crazy!
Anyhows after starting finasteride the itch went away and I was pleased since then my vertex has filled in slightly, the rest of my hair has a got a bit thicker nothing major but noticable to me, for example when I used to take my cap off my hair was so thin that i could easily run my hads thru it, now after taking my cap off my hair is compressed and even tho I can still run my fingers through it there is deffinatley more ressistance lol. If only I had started before my vertex had got so bad! ahh well
However for the past few days my itch has returned not as intense as before and not as often either but its there none the less, kinda worrying. It might just be due to me not taking my finasteride as regularly as before, I know what a fool! gonna get back on it and not miss a day and hopefully it wont surfac again. Anyways just wanted to share my experience and voice my concerns about the damn itch! Hope everyones treatments are going well, try not to let it get you down, keep it up at the least you will hopefully slow this f*****g process down!
