Treatment Plan​

1. Hairline Planning and Design​

The hairline was carefully designed to match Mahmudur’s facial structure and desired aesthetic outcome. The frontal and temporal zones were the primary focus.

2. Local Anesthesia & Preparation​

• Head shaved and disinfected with Betadine and alcohol
• Local anesthesia is administered using a pain-reducing vibration technique
• Patient cleared skin sensitivity test – no allergy to anesthesia

3. Slit Making​

• Performed using sapphire-tipped blades, which offer:
  • Finer incisions
  • Better healing
  • Enhanced density control
• Slit directions were aligned to match the natural angle of existing hair

4. Graft Extraction​

• Extracted using a 0.8 mm titanium punch under magnification
• Total grafts extracted: 3462, including:
  • A high percentage of double and triple follicular units
  • Dense and thick donor grafts are ideal for coverage and volume

5. Graft Storage​

• Grafts preserved at 4°C in RL solution using a graft chiller system
• This ensured a high survival rate and healthy implantation

6. Graft Implantation​

• Grafts implanted using the K.E.E.P. implanter
• Time taken: Approx. 3–4 hours
• Natural hair density and direction are preserved throughout the procedure

7. Post-Procedure Care​

• Post-op dressing was done immediately
• Recovery guidelines, medications, and follow-up schedule shared in detail

Post-Transplant Journey of Mahmudur Rahman Sourav​

1. Shedding Phase (0–3 Months)​
