I recently stopped using finasteride. Been on it for 5+ years and can no longer deal with the sexual side effects. I've had my sex drive decrease consistently over the years. Anyway I use Minoxidil day and night but would like something to inhibit the DHT topically. I was leaning towards spironolactone but heard it's a pain to put on and am undecided what to do. Any suggestions/preferences

Stick with the Rogaine.

spironolactone is not that tough to apply... In fact, it's non-greasy unlike Rogaine.

If you're sick of Propecia, try a nighttime topical like Revivogen.

I agree about Revivogen. It is sticky and best applied before bedtime, but I am really happy with my regiment. I am not even on it a year, will be a year in July. I use minoxidil twice a day, revivogen before bed, and after work i put on american crew revitalizing spray. Today I went to my barber, a minoxidil sceptic, and he commented that my hair is really looking much better. I also use saw palmetto, biotin, multivitamin, msm, glucosamine with condroiten, grape seed extract, fish oil, and garlic. But the key is definitely the minoxidil, revivogen and saw. Also, maybe the msm.
