dont use twinlabs products.... they are overrated and overpriced.

if you want a good "fat burner" that will help you along with A BALANCED DIET try TrimSpa. TrimSpa is pricy too but with my experience/ my clients experience it helps better.

yo bro remember its all in your diet when it comes to losing fat. supplements can/will only assist you.

Tony,

Depends on what your goal is. If you're kicking up weight training in the hopes of cutting fat, just hit the cardio buddy. Screw the supplements. But if you are shooting for more muscle size and definition, whole different ball game. What look are you trying for?

waste of money. if you're not committed to a diet or going to the gym, this won't work,...if you are committed to a diet and going to the gym, you don't need this.. everyone wants a quick fix to make muscle fast.

You could incorporate mainly a load of stomach exercises into your work out or review your diet.

I think some guys always have some extra flab on their gut...genetic maybe?

It's probably the hardest area of fat to get rid of on the body. You could try wraping a big sweat band (not sure what they are called) round your stomach and going running. Worked for a friend of mine combined with various stomach exercises.

Like some sort of thermal wrap which you can purchase at your local sporting good store? Good idea! I think im also going to up my running to 6 days a week and FOR SURE revise my diet!

Yea guys, some of us are genetically programmed to always be thick in the middle. When my dad was really lifting he dropped a ton of weight, was cut as hell, and couldn't lose the middle. Same is true for me.

No matter how much I drop, I always have a little belly. Best thing to do is lift so everything else is bigger by proportion.

Its so funny that you bring that up, the stomach area has always been my downfall no matter how hard I run or work out! Any who, I will keep you guys posted on my progress. Im going to take its and bits of pieces from you this thread and apply it to my regimen and see what I can do.

Thanks a lot fellas!

Take care,
Tony

I've got the same problem too, guys. No matter how much I lose, I ALWAYS have a gut. It sucks.

Try this, Tony:

Eat the MINIMUM amount of calories according to your height, age, and frame (build). Post this info and I'll look it up on my BMI chart. Monitor this like a Nazi and DO NOT go over (or too far under) this amount.

Gradually work up to 7 days a week cardio, eventually getting up to 1 hr. per day. Trampolines are great. If you can, swim nonstop.

Do this and I guarantee you'll lose the love handles.

A great appetite supressant I've used is Mega-G Grapefruit extract. It's stimulant-free. However, if you're on finasteride or any other meds I'd be careful because grapefruit slows digestion and grapefruit EXTRACT greatly increases medications in your bloodstream.

Also, eliminate sugar and balance your carbs (i.e. don't eat too many in proportion to other stuff).

Ok so Im 5'11 and right now am at 175 pounds. Again my only problem is the stomach area and i really want to get down to about 165....

Let me know MAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. I believe my BMI is at about 24 right now, but Im really interested to see what my calorie intake would be daily.

Also, I really do need to eliminate all my sugars, that is one of my downfalls at times.

Thanks,
Tony

Dude, 175 at 5'11'' isn't big at all. You're fine. If you have any muscle size, that probably accomodates for the weight.

Be sure to be realistic about it buddy. Everyone can say 'hey do this and you'll drop weight". But I've seen buddies drop weight to lose the belly and they end up looking like they're strung out on crack and still have some fat there. Just be careful about not hammering yourself about it.

Tony,

Your "healthy weight range" is 143-178 lbs. I take it you're 5' 11" WITHOUT shoes, right?

If you continue to lift while gradually increasing your cardio along with the other things I mentioned, you should be able to drop the love handles/gut and maintain your muscle mass.

Just remember, drop the sugar, limit the carbs, and GET SERIOUS with the cardio. Do it gradually, though. You don't want to overwork your heart.

BTW, your caloric intake recommendation is 1,500-1,800 daily. Since you're at 175 lbs. I'd go with 1,800 and work out like a madman, or go 1,600-1,700 and take grapefruit extract.

Good luck!

P.S. Don't "guesstimate" the calories. Read every package RELIGIOUSLY. You'd be surprised how small serving sizes are.

BTW, what is your frame (bone structure size)? Small, medium, or large? Not your c***.
