Rogaine for facial hair.. Will it grow wherever I put it? (upper cheeks? SCARED)

When applying rogaine for facial hair growth will facial hair grow in places you accidentally touch?


Say i'm putting it on my non existent beard line but I also rub it on my cheeks to make sure i'm getting everything.. Will I start growing hair on my cheeks too?? kind of scared of this because I've been doing it..

I think that unless hair can grow there in the first place rogaine won't do anything.. i'm trying to get clarification.
