im 19 and my hairline is receding. i got 2 months supply of rogaine extra strength for free and was wonder what are the chances of it working on the front part of the scalp. i know it says it might not work but has anyone had succes with it? i am also on propecia. is there anything i should add to help stop my hair from thinning?

minoxidil can work all over the scalp. It is typically less sucessful the further front you go but it may work for you. I use the sh*t all over and it did cause some shedding. I am at about the 10 week mark on minoxidil and 9th on finasteride and I think I am seeing more good hairs coming back in but who knows.

Dinzy, you have nearly the same regimen as I do (minus the minoxidil) and also started at about the same time (May 15 here) and was wondering if you've seen anything so far? I've got great regrowth at all areas of the scalp and many, many more small black hairs coming in all over the place. Hopefully, you have some stuff going on as well. Let me know..
