Anagen inc . I went through a premixed bottle before switching to mixing it myself

I'm thinking about adding propecia. I will wait a few months or maybe til a year mark. I took five days of avodart and it made me feel very weird and made my nipples sting for a couple months afterwards . I'm hoping propecia will be less severe

Wow! Looks like RU58841 is working well for you along with topical Minoxidil. You should get excellent results if you add Finasteride into your regimen.

I take an Avodart capsule daily and have suffered no side effects, sorry if you genuinely did on Dutasteride. I hope you don't experience any side effects if you ever decide to hop on Propecia.

could just be the minoxadil doing all the work. Im very skeptical of ru, I mean why would clinical trails just stop all of the sudden and how can you trust that some chinease guy making ru is not just sending you a fake white powder.

So many things about it are sketchy

RU the actual legit chemical at pure potency is one of the most potent AAs ever invented. I think it gets near castration levels of androgens so its definitely not something you want going systemic. The supplier issue I agree is the biggest downside to it because you will never know what your getting from china somewhere no matter what assurances they give you. Bryan once said RU simply didnt have the money in it with the poor propecia sales and any AA isnt going to turn you into a chia pet just prevent future loss similar to propecia. Its not worth the huge dollars to finish it. Also its not a super stable chemical so I think those are good reasons for shelving it.

i have considered this. im aware of an user here who went from avodart to ru and is holding up fine so to me that means something. and i think anagen is kane and i believe he also gets from kane. when i plateau i may consider switching or adding propecia to see if i can gain more ground using that. propecia is not something i really want to do though.

How do you know that its the most poten AA ever invented. There are no studies done on it. No published medical data exist and the trials stopped all of the sudden with no reason given to the public.

It could very well be that it was not effective at all. You should consider that possibility.

To the OP if you want to try a topical AA why dont you try topical spirinolactone? There are many potent AA you can use I'm sure and they have medical backing. Why not try a proven drug? You can mix it in a solution the same way you mix ru

Science perhaps? The affinity of RU58841 to the androgen receptor is higher than that of cyproterone acetate which in itself is one of the most potent anti-androgens. Furthermore the CEO of Prostrakan publicly stated that RU is just as effective or better than finasteride. RU also outperformed finasteride in a macaque model. spironolactone is bad topically, can work good internally but if you don't want to become a trannie don't go that route.

I dont have the studies but I am pretty sure there were some and that it was one of the most potent AAs ever made. I will give you most of the testing was in animal models so its hard to say but RU-58642 had a slightly different chemical structure but is very closely related to ru58841 and they say in the article its the most potent AA they knew of at the time. Its just in rats so its not exactly conclusive and I do agree its experimental and pretty dangerous with the lack of safety studies or reliable suppliers.

http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0960076097001519

n intact rats its activity was compared to that of other non-steroidal antiandrogens such as flutamide, nilutamide and bicalutamide. RU 58642 proved to be significantly more potent than the reference compounds in reducing prostate weight: 3–30 times orally and 3–100 times subcutaneously, and thus the most potent antiandrogen to date to our knowledge. These results suggest that this compound may be very useful in the treatment of systemic androgen-dependent diseases.

Thats all pretty much hearsay.

No scientific publications to back up your claims. There are no studies published on ru but im sure there are a bunch for cyperatone acetate or flutamide so a logical person would value those over ru.

I have no idea why ru is so popular on therse forums when considering that even if its AA abilities were true youre ordering from a guy in china who vs a pharmacuetical company for the drugs I mentioned

Euhm, dude almost all anti-androgens on the market are derived from the same parent compound, as RU58841 is. To be specific, they all contain a phenyl group with both a trimethyl and either a cyano- or nitro- group attached to the adjacent carbon. It is this fit that allows them to attach and fit to the androgen receptor. Think of flutamide, nilutamide, biculatamide etc.

Furthermore;

RU58841, a new nonsteroidal antiandrogen from Roussel Uclaf, Romainville, France, has been tested for inhibiting the androgen receptor (AR) in human hair follicles (HF). AR has been localized in HF and found to play a major role in androgenetic alopecia, as well as hirsutism. RU58841 displayed a promising activity profile when tested with AR purified from HF, giving a calculated K i 0.4 nM, inhibiting approximately 70% DHT/R1881 binding, approximately 20% better than cyproterone acetate. In short term studies we have developed cell free systems using nuclei from human scalp versusgenital skin to assess binding of AR-58841-inhibitor complexes to nuclear chromatin acceptor sites, while measuring stimulation and inhibition of RNA polymerase II, respectively. AR-58841 complexes bind very specifically to nuclear chromatin acceptor sites in both scalp and genital tissue, with > 60% reduction in RNA polymerase II in genital tissue, in comparison to control levels of androgen alone incubated. Longer term culture (up to 10 days) of whole HF frombeard of 6 male facial specimens versus scalp revealed significant differences (p<0.005) in HF growth rates, protein and DNA synthesis, ATP content, RNA polymerase II activity and thioredoxin reductase activity, whereas no changes in keratin synthesis patterns were found when adding 1 uM RU58841 with and without added DHT, respectively. Overall, RU58841 seems to be a very effective agent in binding to the AR, forming an AR-58841 complex which binds effectively to nuclear acceptor sites in scalp, genital and beard skin, and importantly effects RNA polymerase II activity. From kinetic studies we find this compound to be a mixed inhibitor, with binding to the ligand site as well as displaying allosteric binding characteristics to the regulatory domain of AR, which may be a new and novel approach for antiandrogen treatment of skin disorders, such as androgenetic alopecia and hirsutism.

How would you else get the pharmacokinetics of a compound, can you tell me? The fact that it is popular is because it works in many people. Some people even find it better working than finasteride and I have even seen people who claimed that it works better than dutasteride for them. Also some get sides on finasteride but no sides on RU58841. Although all of this happens vica-versa too. The primary thing about RU58841 is also that it doesn't alter your hormonal profile at all, which may be a reason for people also I assume.
