RU58841 and Testosterone levels on paper

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section guys (and perhaps some ladies). I have been on Dutasteride, 50mg RU58841 which I mix with 10% Minoxidil. I have been on this protocol for about 4-5 months and have had excellent results. Hair shedding has completely stopped and I am getting some noticeable regrowth now.

Due to a medical condition I am also on Doctor prescribed Testosterone replacement therapy which puts my total testosterone to the higher end of normal and sometimes even just over that. Well the doctor did a set of blood tests and even though I feel great, my total testosterone levels on paper are that of a female (literally yes).

So I am trying to work out whether it's the RU58841 getting absorbed systemically and attaching itself to the androgen receptor therefor lowering my Testosterone. Is this even possible? Has anybody had total and free testosterone checked on paper whilst taking RU58841? What were the results like?

It is impossible for my Testosterone levels to be this low and the only culprit I can think of is the RU58841. Any help would be really greatly appreciated.

RU is an NSAA, if it went systemic you’d expect a marked increase in serum T as opposed to a reduction.
Yeah right but how so? Well given that RU is a powerful anti androgen that theoretically speaking should stop all androgens including Testosterone not just DHT.

RU doesn't attack testosterone. It binds to the same receptor that testosterone binds to, which leaves that T free to float around since it can't bind to the receptor.

Cheers mate thank you for the reply. That actually makes sense. So than my very low testosterone levels must be as a result of something else in that case...

What is more odd to me is you are sub 100ng/dL but you are saying you are currently feeling great right? The only thing I can think of is TRT is shutting down your natural production of T. When did you start TRT? Which ester are you using? What is your weekly dose? How are you administering? When was your last dose before you had the test?

Also what does your doctor think? He's aware of what you are currently taking?

I’ve been on TRT for just over 2 years now. Using 125mg of Dr prescribed Testosterone enanthate injected IM every 5 days. I did the test 5 days after last injection.

Dr seems to think it’s a error on the lab’s part and he has ordered me to do the blood test again in a fortnight. Other than that I’m taking .25mg of Arimidex every 3 days which is keeping my oestrogen in range.

this is why I find it strange because I feel awesome, I’ve got a high libido but my testosterone levels on paper are 37ng/dl. I’m really baffled and cannot pinpoint what it is that’s why I was thinking that perhaps the RU58841 might be the culprit

Yeah I mean it has to be an error on the lab side, you'd feel f*****g dreadful if your T were suppressed to that extent.

Yeah mate that’s why I reached out to you guys and thought that perhaps the RU might be causing this. I don’t really want to quit the RU because I’ve been getting awesome results from it in combination with the 10% minoxidil and dutasteride.

Sorry to disappoint, feel like this would be something the PED/AAS communities would be better suited to answer, like this would be right up Derek from MPMD street.
