I did see a a pubmed study of topical estrogen used on chemo-induced alopecia that indicated positive results in regrowing hair faster. I bet it is absorbed systemically though.
Ice can be used pretty effectively with chemotherapy. It restricts blood flow to the scalp, hence it keeps the chemo drugs "away" from the hairs.
I wonder if topical estrogen has ever been tried and tested scientifically for hairloss.? I know progesterone has and is used in some of Dr. Klein's stuff, but progesterone gets broken down awfully quick. It would need to be put on many times during a day IMO.
