S5 Cream and Regaine Foam

Hi,

I was just wondering, what is the best way to use S5 Cream and Regaine Foam?

Sometimes at night I apply the S5 Cream, wait about half an hour to an hour, then apply the Foam, some nights it's the other way round.

Does this make a difference??

Thanks

However Dr. Lee states it best to wait till after rogaine is applied then use the spironolactone..

I don't think Dr. Lee had the foam in mind when making that statement. He's referring to the liquid version in which an application of topical spironolactone applied after the minoxidil will aid in the absorption of both products. The foam dries almost immediately.

ok so when is spironolactone applied ?

Ummm....I think my response of "no" to the OPs question of "does this make a difference?" pretty much answered that question in regard to the foam and my second response pretty much covered the same question regarding the liquid.

The best way to use is to apply Rogaine Foam first, let it dry, and then apply the S5 Cream. Now if you try the reversal, S5 Cream first, and then the foam afterwards -- it will create a noticeable smell.

Hi Radio

You've been using spironolactone for awhile now. How's it working for you?
