The s5 cream I bought from here, is there really spironolactone in it? If spironolactone is only available by Rx how can they legally sell a cream with that in it?
Maybe it's because it's only 5% and not to be taken orally, so no prescription is required?
I too have had concerns over s5, simply because it does not smell like Dr Lee's spironolactone or homemade spironolactone cream, both had a very strong smell.
I figure though that spironolactone is cheap (so they wouldn't be saving much by not putting it in) and would have been found out far earlier if they were falsely advertising their product (one lab test and they'd be found out).
I stopped using it because of my doubts regarding the product. Then I saw the GourmetStyleWellness store has started carrying even more bs products claiming they work....needless to say I won't be purchasing anymore from the store. Paying 35 bux for a jar of lotion that was manufactured in Hungar-y just doesn't sound enticing to me.
Dr. Lee spoiled us with his high quality products...its a shame he's gone
That is my issue with all this small scale underground stuff you run into tons of issues that could render it ineffective. Maybe topical spironolactone does work but is the vehicle they are using really working? The list of questions could go on and on. The thing is there is no real evidence or anything so its all guessing that varies by person. Not really worth it IMO
