Saw Palmetto vs Propecia

I took saw palmetto for about a year and noticed a decrease in erection size and hardness...


"The berries of saw palmetto (Serenoa repens), a small palm native to the south east United States, possess a dual 5a-reductase inhibition activity, due to their high content of phytosterols: β-sitosterol, stigmasterol, lupeol, lupenone, and cycloartenol"

The question I am raising: Does propecia possibly inhibit DHT ways other than the way that Saw palemetto does? Possibly another method that will not affect my erections the way saw palemetto did? Or is it more like because saw palmetto gave me sides, then propecia will give me sides...

Yeah I had a similar experience back when I tried it. Personally I think saw palmetto works similar to propecia just a whole lot weaker and maybe not enough to do anything for hair loss which is why I just dropped it. I do think propecia will have similar sides if you used that but atleast then you know your saving your hair verses guessing.

propecia grows and maintains hair, saw palmetto doesnt. there is some differences between the two, only you could know how finasteride would settle with you.
