Has a bald dad. Anecdotal, yes, but I can't think of really any examples to the contrary. When I look up the fathers of celebrities who are balding, it's the same story. Conversely, I have a hard time thinking of anyone who has a dad with a full head of hair and is balding.

Largely coincidence, but I mean you only have 2 parents. Its probably pretty common if your dad has it big time its a pretty good shot your facing something similar. Its just not always true, but I do agree in a lot of cases it is.
If my dad was Norwood 6 or 7 id be on propecia at the first whiff of hair loss.
Some men though look at the options we have, and decide its not worth it for one of many valid reasons. Its not a wrong decision honestly something like propecia carries plenty of risks long term for a cosmetic problem

I have to disagree.

My father and his brother are almost completely bald (NW6-7). The other brother is thining out really hard, while their father had solid and thick NW1-2 in his 60s.

I guess I got the sh*t, since my mothers side has balders only as well..

So we found out that baldness is hereditary. Lol I can't believe it.
Maternal granddad is actually the best guess.

The more baldcels in the family the bigger the chance of being a baldcel for the offsprings just as easy as that.
