I'm 21 and can still rock a pretty good caesar style haircut, but am losing my hair pretty fast now and finasteride and minoxidil dont seem to be working. ive been on it for a year. honestly, i think ive made peace with this. i have 1 more year of college left, which im gonna keep my hair for, then i think im just going to bic it. other than school i work as a waiter 4 nights a week and i see a lot of guys who have shaved their heads and they often have hot women with them. the guys who are desperately trying to hide their hairloss are the ones who are with the uglier chicks. plus its a mental and attitude thing. if you shave your head and your hair comes up in a conversation and you say something like "well genetics hit me a bit earlier, so i said F*** it and shaved it, im not going to let my hair run me." i GAURANTEE you she will be turned on. The good thing about being a guy is that women like attitude a lot more than we do. so if your funny and have a confident attitude your fuckin set man. of course there are going to be the chicks who dont want you b/c your bald, but f*** them, and honestly there arent going to be as many of them as you think. Money means more than hair to the shallow ones. and the legit ones like attitude and confidence. so in closing i would say that most of us on this board arent lossing our hair, we're lossing our balls. so i say f*** the hair and get the balls back.

Yeah I hear where you're coming from westcovinajoe but I also personally know good looking girls who are more then willing to date and f*ck good looking poor guys. No argument that a lot of *** will gravitate towards the $$$... Just part of a woman's 'nesting' instinct. However, if you got a 'look' going for you you're going to get a fair share of play too. In fact, some of that *** that gravitates towards that $$$ will either look at you as a 'fix me up' project (chicks love that sh*t) or will just 'use' you as a boy toy while their hubby's are out making the $$$.

Now, point is, most guys are going to look better w/ hair then w/o. Sex appeal, even for a man, can be a VERY powerful tool both in your love life and even career. Just my two cents!

Women will not tolerate the good-looking poor dude for long though. Eventually they will expect that guy to but them crap, and when he won't, they will dump him for a dude with cash.

Sex is a marketplace and men and women are buyers and sellers.

Men are the buyers. Sure, looks will get you a free pass from time to time or a discount here and there, but at the end of the day someone has got to pay for lunch.
