Should I add Minoxidil %5?

I'm on finasteride for about 5 months now.
Started using Revita shampoo 2 days ago, but I'm thinking about adding minoxidil too..

Already have the 5% kirkland foam at home, but I've read allot of story's about receding even faster on minoxidil. So I;m a little bit afraid of a huge shed..

I'm 23 and probably around NW2,5. I have very thick hair and I'm only receding at the temples.
I hope the finasteride and Revita will stop this, but maybe minoxidil would help this progress abit..


Would it be a good idea to add the minoxidil?

Minoxidil won't cause you to recede even further it'll cause a huge shed that a lot of people mistake as a bad sign and discontinue the product after they've lost hair from the shed which makes them believe its made them worse. But the huge shed is a good sign that the product is working. It's mainly up to you minoxidil can improve that hairline or temple area by thickening the thin hairs in the area or if anything it'll help you maintain. You only really need to apply once a day as well so just do it at night time and its not that much of a hassle.
