Hi everyone,

I've been on my hairloss regimen for almost 5 months.
Here's the timeline.

Jan15 - Start finasteride (propecia 1mg daily at night)
Feb15 - Start min (1ml x2 daily morning/night), nizoral (x2 weekly) /shed when shower and apply minoxidil
Mar15 - End of this month, notice red bump/scalp pimple, stop nizoral /moderate shed
Apr15 - Due to scalp itch+pimple, stop nizoral and lower min to only once daily /no shed
May15 - Scalp itch+pimple still going sometimes the itch even woke me up at night to scratch /moderate shed

Compare pics:
feb15 (one month from start)

may15 (3 weeks ago)

Even though I noticed improvement on my crown, I'm still worried about the itch and pimple.
The itch is on the MBP area but pimples are even on the back and sides.
I tried many shampoo in one month to ease the problems with no luck, even baby shampoo!
This makes me started to suspect finasteride is the cause.

Now the questions:
- Does the itch and pimple/acne means my hormone is fighting back against finasteride?
- Should I be worried about the hyperandrogenism or I've consumed too much info from the Internet?

Any opinion/suggestion would be very much appreciated.

PS: I have no sexual side effect, if you wonder.

Thanks

Most likely this. C'mon a pimple?

Sorry, not only a pimple, few pimples.
I also have a stinging feeling and scalp pain.

For the nizoral, I noticed few red bumps every time after I used it that I decided to stop.

My plan is to continue the treatment and try not to ignore any factor that might be worsen the situation, given that I'm already in a bad one as you can see.
