I am 32 year old male who in the last year has noticed thinning and an increased forehead size, though not much daily hair loss.
In the last month I did something about it.... I bought purebiology hair shampoo and slept with it overnight and took 10k mcg of biotin both almost daily I don't know which worked but I have seen several NEW hairs near the peak of my widows peak, I am very excited about my results.
I have not seen any dramatic hair loss but what I am understanding is that it is easier to strengthen hair than to regrow it from scalp soooooo..... I am wondering if I should start finasteride before my hair goes from thinning to dead...if it does.
1) Should I take finasteride even though my hair loss near is only near the forehead and my hair thinning? I am not scared of shedding or sexual dysfunction.
2) Can taking finasteride and later quitting it make your hair quality worst? I heard you should take it for 2 years.
3) Can any DHT blocker be close to finasteride in efficacy? I read lots of good about DHT blockers.
