I have once again petitioned Dr. Feller to perform a small FUE procedure to fill in my temple angles and add some density to my frontal hairline. I am a solid NW2 heading to a Norwood 2.5. Currently taking Propecia 1mg/day and using Nizoral shampoo. I've been on Propecia for 19 months. Prior I used minoxidil with great success but had to stop due to sides.

What's your opinions on the extent of my loss and my options?

theres no way u need hair transplants,im not even sure your a NW2 but its hard to tell just with side view, you've got a better hairline than i had when i was 12.

Oh man. It looks like you have no thinning. You have a solid, adult hairline with no serious recession. Take a step back and get some perspective... someone with hair like yours doesn't need to be on meds and especially shouldn't be thinking about a transplant. Come back in 10 years and we'll talk.

I understand and appreciate your comments. However, I guess what disappoints me somewhat is the fact that about 5 years ago I had a great hairline, way better than it is now. So maybe it is a matter of perspective, I just want to get somewhere near where I once was.

But, I also understand that where I am now isn't too bad either. So I'll shut up and be content for now.

Yeah dude...I think you badly need one. You should surely get one. I mean your hair looks horrible...NW2...you look more like NW4...You will need atleast 5000 grafts...Go an get it...ASAP

FIght to keep what you have with propecia, nizoral twice a week, and something else.........................like minoxidil or perhaps tricomin.

That should keep you with what you have for many many years man. By then..................we may have a real "cure" for baldness. Dont uneccesarily disturb your donor area with scars if you dont have to.


Honestly, fight this for at least five years before considering surgery. Wait until you are thirty. I wish I'd have done that. Experience talkin' here.

um dont worry about your hair man it looks ok - that post seems like a joke to me ,i cant see any balding ...- maybe you need to put some rogaine on your nuts man ..
