Should You Avoid Getting Perms If Prone To Male Pattern Baldness ?

I am currently in the early stages of male pattern baldness, the front of my scalp and temples started receding and thinning, but I usually keep my hair curly.

Daily I am using finasteride 1mg, ketoconazole shampoo, and minoxidil twice
weekly I dermaroll using a 1mm roller

I have been on finasteride since december, the rest I have been using summer of 2019, shedding slowed down by a lot, I went from losing over 100 hairs in the shower to maybe 20-30 per wash. However I have not noticed any significant hair growth, I got very small hairs I am assuming from the minoxidil but they are ridiculously small and never grew long even after months, they must be shedding too quick and growing back or something.

Would I be OK perming my hair considering the slower shedding or should I stay clear of perm until I reverse the hair loss/actually get some significant re-regrowth ?

thank you
