There's nothing wrong with trying to salvage our positives from a **** situation, eg it's not silly to think "despite my baldness, at least my dick is huge", however it's deluded to think "because my dick is huge, my baldness doesn't matter". As already stated, it all depends on facial features and head shape. For example, I was already ugly with hair, but I kept it long to hide my facial imperfections. Many even complimented me about my hair. Baldness at 19 was the coup de grace for me.

Sure it does. "Confidence" means a person has a feeling something along the lines of "I can probably do this successfully", or "I am pretty sure of this". For some people it might manifest itself by making one less fearful or doubtful in a given action or interaction. It absolutely has meaning, just like any other word. Maybe it has no meaning to you, or other people don't use it to your satisfaction, but isn't that your issue?
