spironolactone S5 cream sunlight question

Hi all,

I gave a question about applying spironolactone S5 cream. I remember I read somewhere that applying topical spironolactone and then going out in sunlight is a big no-no. I can't remember why, whether it makes it smells, goes inactive, it whatever. Anyone with knowledge or experience please share it.

Good question. I would like to know too. I've been using spironolactone for many years be I never heard anything about that.

Skin cancer? I'm wondering how long one has to wait after applying spironolactone before going outside during sunny day.
