Starting Finasteride Dosage?

Hello everyone I recently got a prescription for some Finasteride. My doctor wrote it for Proscar, but when I filled it at the pharmacy for the first time (this time) they gave me the circular Dr. Reddy's Finax. What should my starting dose be? I would think that you should start with 1 mg? My doctor wrote 1.25 which would be easy to do with the circular Dr. Reddy's Finax but I'm afraid that might be too strong to start with and not give me any wiggle room in the future if I ever need to up the dose?

I'd just go with 1.25mg not a big difference from 1mg, upping your dose later won't really make a difference.

it doesn't also really matter which dosage you choose because 1mg and 1.25mg have the same effect on hair loss.

doesn't matter. you could take 5mg or .5mg it barely makes a difference
