Starting Finasteride This Week. Anyone Else?

I am like 17 days in. I have currently had no sideffects but i am also still loosing alot of hair, still keeping optimistic though as it hasnt been a month yet lol.

Thankfully side effects are rare. Its actually more likely to not work than to give you side effects!

I shaved my head down to a #1 so i see only like 20 hairs per day compared to 300+ before.

Ya he is, look at all of his threads where he covers his shower in hair.
I buzzed my head so I can’t see it but I can feel my hair shedding... it’s like the hair is moving around. I’m also on rogaine so I’m hoping it’s just that I also have a rogaine shed lol.

It makes it a lot easier to not worry about huh. When do you think you’ll let it grow back to judge progress? I’m thinking I’m gonna try at 3 or 4 months...

sh*t man , were you loosing 300 a day even if you washed your hair daily? . I loose about 150 , most of it in the shower when i shampoo my hair after 4 days .
I havent had any itching yet, i never really had itching before either , only when i used nirozal , which i have now stopped. Would an itch signify that the finasteride is working?. My hairloss is at its worst literally on my left temple lol, the right is catching up really slowly though.

Starting this week as well. Wish I had a better idea what to expect good or bad.
Biggest concern is another brutal shed. Minoxidil shed set me back years.

Im letting it grow back right now already. One of the main reasons why I buzzed it off was so that it is easier to apply rogaine and derma roll my entire scalp. Im gonna get a fade on the sides and let the top grow ( or atleast try to grow).

Bro, I was losing 300 a day when washing my hair in the morning and night. I would wash my hair in the morning and get 300, then I would do it again before bed and get another 200. I went from full thick nw1 to diffused nw6 pattern in 5 months.
