Hello
this my second post here on these forums.

As title says, have continually shed/lost (really don't know) while on finasteride for now 6 months. Really terrible in the shower and styling hair, probably 100+ and even when touching hair every time I see 2-4 hairs in my hand.

So as I can understand I may have aggressive Androgenetic Alopecia, thinning all over as well. So My question is finasteride may not be enough for my aggressive hairloss?
Have no also bought 1 year supply for minoxidil for hopes to regrow what I have lost, especially for the hairline vertex. Going really bad now this last couple of months!!

So my questions then:
1: Should I hold on with finasteride and wait it out while starting minoxidil as well OR
2:Should I start RU58841 while still TAKING finasteride and minoxidil, and don't risk any more thinning for the hairline?
3:Thinking also to include EMU Oil for the itches, is this nessacery?

Know that dutasteride is also a opportunity as well. But a bit scared of the risks, as I had some minor sides on finasteride. Decreased sex drive/Not as always horny. But damn if I feel it, \.I got damn masturbate, with no failures!:)

So just waiting for a post up: A NO GO or GO for it!! from one of you experienced ones out there.

Thank you for those who will reply, really appreciate everything you can give me here on these forums!

wait another year- 2 years before assessing whether finasteride is failing or not. There are stories of people who continued finasteride for 1-2years with shedding, but after many years concluded that despite the shedding they have ultimately maintained what they had long term. Shedding does not mean miniaturization, the state of your hair can vary from month to month, even 6 months isn't that long

Thank you, appreciate you answering my thread! As I've read some of your posts on this forum!

It seems that my hairline is holding from when I started (I think), tough only shedding all over it seems with some itch from time to time.
But my damn Doctor just prescribed for me, would be nice if he informed me more. And told me to document as well.
I will continue my regimen then, and include minoxidil and see were it will lead me and hope for the best!

Thank you again:)
