Hey guys,

So i've been on 1/8 proscar for about two years now.
I have been getting sexual side effects lately it has reached the point where I have to make the decision between hair and a healthy sex life.

I rarely get morning erections anymore and i have low sex drive.

Just wondering has anyone come off it, and how long does it take if ever to see sexual health returning

Thankyou for the help, please dont be negative as i am trying to remain as positive as possible.

What is your age?

Have you had any blood tests?

I would recommend quitting slowly. Even if you have to get some regular Propecia tabs and cut them up to lower the dose.

Im 22 at the moment.
I had a blood test about a year back and everything was fine, I still had some sides at that time.

What would the blood test be looking for in particular?

how slowly would you recommend getting off and why would it be better than straight up quitting?

thanks for the reply

I tried to post something earlier and it didn't go through. BW should check for Total T, Free T, E2, DHT and SHBG. See where your levels are to compare if you have issues in the future. If you don't, no worry. I would quit slowly (at least one month at the lowest dose you can, such as 1/8 of a 1 mg pill) to avoid shocking your system after being on it for 2 years. It really cannot hurt. When I quit, my HPTA got absolutely crushed.

I stopped cold turkey and was feeling so good 30 days later that it was amazing.
