Stress or disease related hairloss vs Androgenic Alopecia?

Just curious -- hairloss related to stress,anxiety, or medical reasons such as hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, etc.. -- does this hairloss cause any miniaturization or hair shaft changes? Or is it very easy to spot because all hairs NOT fallen out are perfectly sized, and identical in width etc? So no miniaturization around hairline, etc.. Or can medical or stress related loss cause these changes if chronic and long term?


**In simple terms: Can NON male pattern baldness hairloss cause any changes in the hair itself?


Just curious, cause depending on the facts/answer I don't think it would be difficult for anyone to self diagnose hair loss related to male pattern baldness or other causes.
