Suggestion on finasteride or propecia...HELP!

Hey all. I'm 21 yrs old and had been losing hair for the past 3 years. I have not yet taken any medication but at this point i really need to do something about it. I can see that most of you have experienced with the drug, are you happy with the result? I'm kinda curious whether i should take it or not since i heard the side effects ain't bright... But again, if it would really help regrowing the hair i would give it a try! Any input will be greatly appreciated!

I suggest reading the research on propecia here on this website. The data is much more informative than a random set of posts.

Agreed. The information we have provided on the Propecia pages is as unbiased as we could get it. It contains the real statistics based on the real clinical trials... which contain side effects percentages you should be able to trust.

If you've got 500,000 people using a drug, and 4% of them get side effects, you can be assured that 4% will be posting here and the others will be out living life.

What you see on discussion forums in regards to side effects and non-effectivenss is not a fair cross section of all the users. This is why you should always look to the clinical data where these things were closely monitored and recorded.
