"Take this medicine at the same time each day"

I was checking out some different generic version of Finasteride, and I read the message "Take this medicine at the same time each day.". My weekly schedule sort of flipflops so I usually take my pill at different times on different days, some days when I wake at 10AM for work, some when I wake at 2PM. Do you think this would have any long term effect? This would probably take a professional answer on how long the effects stay in the system.

Algag, I'm not positive but i'm pretty sure my dermatologist said to take finasteride at approximately the same time each day. If i remember correctly it had something to do with keeping a relatively constant amount of the drug in your system at all times...I take mine between 9 and 11 in the morning every day, but i would just call your derm to make sure.

I take mine whenever. Been doing that for over two years and it has not done me any harm.
