I am considering switching from Finpecia to Proscar and cutting the tablets into 4. Would taking the 1.25 tablet every other day be less effective in maintaining the hair I currently have? I am 38. The other question is whether anyone is aware of side effects being more pronounced from taking the 1.25 over 1.0 EVERY day?
