Taking 1.25mg of finasteride every other day?

I have go myself some finesteride 5mg tablets .
I am wondering if I start taking 1.25mg every other day instead of ED , will it still be as effective?
Does any one else do this and found it to be just as good?

I done a search a found a few threads from a couple if years ago and there was no definite answer.

I tried finasteride once a day for months... awesome results on my hair... but I have to stop due to side effects... later, I tried finasteride just three times a week for six months, it worked just as well as once a day... but it gave me the same side effects...

I even tried finasteride just twice a week... it works, no doubt about it (albeit not as good as once a day... I mean, with twice a day results take longer to appear...)... but I have sides once again (no, they were not in my head, they were real, confirmed by a doctor (we use the string which measure your nocturnal erections... I had none... ¡for 8 freaking days!...))

Yeah... everyone is different, I know that... so, in my case finasteride 1.5 every other day definitely works... I do have heard about guys overcoming side effects by taking a lower dose... but at least in my case, that did not worked...

Did you recover from Sides after you stopped finasteride?
I've just started taking finasteride. 1mg/Day

Everytime I tried finasteride on different doses, it was for a minimum of six months. And everytime I stopped I would get completely recovered after maybe two months... (I never had any libido problems... in fact I never got any other problem than erectile disfunction)

Seems like one can never know how finasteride will effect them until and unless one try them.
I will keep monitoring possible side effects if any and will ask here if there is anything which can be done to counter it.

But psychology its killing me. Even if I have a headache or stomach ache or any thing... i think its coz of finasteride. Lol its been only 2 days since i started finasteride tho
