Tell my my norwood rating (26)

Hello,

Been lurking for a long time (never decided to make an account until recently) and am pretty sure I'm experiencing male pattern baldness. Just want to get a confirmation of what my norwood is currently. I feel like I've always had recessed temples (styled my hair forward to cover this for a loooong time) but think its creeping up more over time but thankfully my vertex has not really changed. I feel like I have more hairloss on the right side of my head than my left...which seems strange.

Been using the big 3 for about 1.5 months (finasteride, 1% nizoral, and 5% minoxidil once a day). I know I need to be doing x2 a day for minoxidil but it makes my hair look horrible...so only before bed for now. Cant seem to find 2% nizoral anywhere...

I'd say your a nice solid Norwood 2 odubz. In the pics you provided, it does look like there's extremely minor thinning on your crown. You should maintain well with the Big Three (Finasteride, Ketoconazole, Minoxidil). You have great hair, so I wouldn't worry too much. It is possible to have more hair loss on one side of the hairline than the other, remember to keep in mind that Male Pattern Baldness doesn't follow any rules.

Applying Minoxidil once daily before bed is fine, and still very effective, there isn't much need to use it twice daily unless you're looking to get the most out of that treatment. About using 2% Nizoral, there's definitely no need for that either, using the over-the-counter 1% Ketoconazole shampoos is fine. Most importantly is to focus on the Finasteride intake and being dedicated to applying Minoxidil.

Between a NW2 and 3 imo, but closer to 2. You will still probably get some more regrowth if you have only been on the Big 3 for 1.5 months, and Minoxidil twice a day is a hassle, but it will give you better regrowth.

How about an Norwood 2.3? Not enough recession to be a 2.5 but probably not a solid Norwood 2.

After playing with minoxidil for a few years now. I've determined once a day has the cliffs covered. Twice is a bit better but nothing to stress about if u cant manage it.
