Hi guys,
So I have been dealing with hair loss for the last 10 years (I am now 24). My blood tests have always returned as normal except for a slightly low Vitamin D.
I recently went to two consultations with trichologists and they confirm that I have telogen effliuvium, as well as female pattern hair loss at the front of my hair.
The first place has recommended a three month treatment of:
The second involves:
I am also unsure about the diagnosis as I do not feel that I have periods of increased shedding. To me, it feels like it has been the same level of shedding since it started 10 years ago.

The first place has recommended a three month treatment of:
- FHS hair loss lotion which contains folsan, solvit, D-Panthenol (vitamin B6) methyl, nicotinate, PEG-6-undecylenate, green tea extract. It stimulates colleagen and elastic production and counteracts sebhorrhoea changes. It normalises hair growth cycle due to hormonal imbalance and stops the progression of alopecia androgenica and telegon effluvium.
- SV Stim D Scalp Lotion which contains complex of fortified visnaga vera extract, green coffee and menthol. It is an energizing lotion that rebalances the hair growth cycle and stimulates the scalp by promoting hair follicle nourishment. A powerful micro stimulant that enhances oxygen and nutrients delivery.
The second involves:
- Hair growth boosters including minoxidil additives, the HairMax LaserComb and Hair Vitalics hair growth supplement
- Complimentary HairMax LaserComb (cost £240) with most treatment courses if 12 months paid in advance (not suitable for Alopecia Areata)
I am also unsure about the diagnosis as I do not feel that I have periods of increased shedding. To me, it feels like it has been the same level of shedding since it started 10 years ago.
