temples....any hope

hi guys

read literally everything on this website and understand the logic! understand the importance of patience and routine...however ive been on big for 15 months and my temples have shot back during this time from NW1 to whatever the below is. My left side is fine...right side has really gone back!...whats your opinions....stay on big 3 and hope my temples stay where they are? PS im 30 next month...still look 19 though ha!...with my hair!!!! (thinned all on top but seem to be at least maintaining after grow back from terrible shed off regaine...see below for pics...

still a nw1. looks like u went through a shed but kept your hairline in tact...did u say which treatment regimen u were on? i see the "big" but nothing else, ill assume big 3?

I'd rather jump on a low dose of finasteride, .25 or .5 a mg, while having that much hair. I have a receded hair line where the majority of the circle that juts outward is there, but there are two triangle-like spots above the temples that are gone. It is a bit more than a mature hair line in that it doesn't quite make a straight hair line looking straight ahead, but it looks fine if looking at it from the side. It has held up for quite some time, but now I'm worrying about diffuse shedding that I haven't had much of a problem with in the past.

yes ive been on propecia for 15 months, regaine 9 months, and nizoral.....top of my head....crown has really thinned out. My dad is completely bald....started losing about 30 years old looking at pics....maybe I should assess at the 2 year mark....

Hey, have you had any luck with the propecia/rogaine? Your hair looks pretty good. Did you get hair regrowth/maintenance? I am taking finasteride 5 mg, taking over 4-day periods.

im really not sure? I shed really bad...check the link. But it came back....but thin and i still have it. temples have gone back and continue to do so....does anyone have a similar experience and held at say a nw2....on the pictures the miniture hairs on the right temple that make it look like a hairline....have gone now .............

And sorry for being blunt I just think you should be out enjoying the frankly amazing hair you have and not worrying about what, at most, is a tiny bit of temple recession. It's debatable whether that's even approaching 'mature hairline' stage.

yea i had a bad shed man!!!!it grew back but its thin! buti still have it...i mainly just wanted anyone with previous experience who'stemples had gone back...likemine on treatments...then held there.... thankyou for the comments hairhoper....they made me realise a little...but im still fighting baldness my friend

couldnt say! i guess you get a couple of greys when your 30 next week! i hope i am greying...my mums dad had a full head of hair at 93! but grey'd early. My dad is a Norwood 10000 when he was 36...but his dad went bald about 50 ish.... my dad was pretty stressed out all the time though! i reckon stress has a load too do with it! when i had that huge shed for three months i was looking at going to jail for 2 years, wasnt sleeping, lost my girlfriend, drinking heavily/drugs, partying hard etc....now im the opposite! so i think it plays a part.
