Hallo guys!

As a prelude, I am currently on dutasteride 0.5mg since January 2023, unfortunately I've been shedding the whole time, and it has gotten worse actually.

I have spironolactone, but honestly spironolactone seems like it has way too many sides for the very small benefits (constant piss, drowsiness, bone issues), so I decided to settle on an alternative as the title implies.

I've been having DHT itch pretty badly, and RU doesn't really work, so I'm gonna be taking 12.5mg Bicalutamide 3x, or 2x a week.

I'm using RU at the peak of my hairline for now to see if it causes any kind of thickening. Ill receive the Bica in like a month probably. Also ordered myself a bunch of cialis just to prevent penile atrophy and for cardiac health. Ill be starting OM at some point, but since I always travel I do not want to shed even more than I already do, my hair is the only reason I get women. Without hair I can't creampie like I usually do.

Anyone who used bicalutamide, please chime in. :)

If you're gonna do this, I think its safer to take it daily for a period of time until you are happy with your regrowth and then when you stop have surgery for gyno, which you will almost certainly develop. I think taking it 2-3x per week is potentially dangerous due to the AR rebound; you will have constantly fluctuating levels. I think 25-50mg per day will cause quite a bit of regrowth and definitely thickening of any miniaturized follicles.

Sounds good. Maybe 12.5mg per day is better since its minimum effective dose. My DHT itch is absolutely driving me insane. Its been getting horrible ever since May. I dont think RU could even help since my hair is long and I wont be able to apply it efficiently. Ill try a bunch of stuff, Im desperate

The point I'm making is that you're going to experience gyno anyways. What I would prioritize is being on Bica for a shorter amount of time. 25-50mg would definitely yield significant improvement within a few months. I think your hair will look visibly very different 4 months in. If you want to do 12.5mg you can, but likely you will experience the same side effects with less improvement. If you do this I think it would be a big favour to this community to make a thread and document your progress.

Oh Im not worried about gyno, its hardly a side effect ill just get it removed, Im a DUPAcel so fornme transplants are not possible. Im applying topical RU before I receive my bica since it should in theory have the same effect. My crown is getting violated by DHT itch

Maybe you're reacting to the alcohol and the chemicals you're using in your topical. If it's truly the itch bothering you go and buy a Selsun shampoo and that will really help you.

Selsun causes scalp pain for me. Its messed up, I use Vichy Dercos 1% instead.

The alcohol isn't causing DHT itch. I applied RU today and the intense itching was before I added anything. Ill just keep applying RU and pray for the best.
