think im geting an increase in libildo / harder erections from finasteride (dead serious)

im on day 4, i seriously think its making my libido skyrocket and im getting harder erections

is this possible is it all in my head has any1 else gotten theses side affects, will it last? will it go away, will i get negative side effects

also before i started finasteride i use to get headaches and REALLY tight scalp on my hairline since i started i havent

Ha! I went through that too. I think it has to do with the fear that something could go wrong, so you do it up in the other direction. I spent a lot of time "proving" that nothing was broken.

I can't say for sure that it was the finasteride, but I've been taking it for 2.5 years and my sex drive is very strong. I can easily masturbate 2-3 times per day and still perform very well with my girlfriend. And for the record, I'm not extremely young. I turn 30 in a few months. finasteride at the very least hasn't done a thing to my sex drive. I even go through periods where I feel supercharged.

But after 1,5 year, side effects started. No libido, erectile dysfunction, too low sperm count, low semen volume etc..

Scary dreams always start later..Don't forget..

Finasteride is an anti androgen and have a lot of side effects like interferility..

Please wait and see terrible sides of finasteride.

It would be great if people would do a hormone blood panel before and after using finasteride, so if side effects occur you can take a look at what's going on inside your body instead of thoughts like " is it all in my head?".
What were your libido and erections before finasteride? In some cases, an extra boost of estrogen can actually work in favor of libido/erections.

The complete misinformation that people are spreading is just ridiculous and harmful to guys looking for help. It's a shame. You're right!! when I first came here I had no idea about treating hairloss and through the help and information I got from this site I have managed to keep hairloss at bay for nearly 10 years..

I am grateful for that and try to give as much help back as I can but recently it seem like an uphill battle to get usefull legitimate information across..
