Thinning on the sides as well? (See Pics)

What could this potentially be? If I were to cut all my hair that length, I believe that is what it would look like.
I'm not 100% if I have male pattern baldness, but I've been treating it as such.

How old are you? Im 21 and have worse diffuse thinning all over top, and my sides kind of look like that as well. Is the texture different from safe zone at the back of head? You might have DUPA. In my case not even dutasteride is working, and minoxidil has no effect at all. Im going to try RU pretty soon tho :(

dat retrograde alopecia of PEACE

I have a minor case of it on my right side. I don't have the traction skid marks.... more or less the density, and hair texture doesn't match the left side.

It looks like it's just the way the hair is cut, in my opinion. I really don't think you
are losing any hair.

Androgen alopecia either attacks the hairline or the vertex.

If you really feel strongly about it, see a doctor.

As far as androgen baldness, I would have to see your hairline and the
top of your head.

I have little to no receding in the hairline. If anything it could be a "mature" hairline. My crown is a different story as I believe I may be experiencing hair loss around NW2.5 but it's still concealable. No actual balding, just very thin hair.
I'm talking my doctor at the end of this month and more than likely getting on finasteride.

I'm 21 as well actually. I don't believe that safe zone is affected . I'm sorry to hear about that, man. I've been successful with maintaining and starting to get regrowth with my regimen. I'm going to try finasteride soon as well.
I don't know a whole lot about RU. Is it very effective?
