Hey I'm posting this because I'm only 15 years old and most of my family like cousins on both sides of my family are my age or older and still have hair that isn't thick and luscious. My brother has thinned and I'm scared this is the start of me thinning. Which is confusing because my dad only started losing hair when he was around 40. The picture posted below is my hair on the right side. Please help.

I don't believe you're thinning. It could just be your hairline maturing

You are way too young to even consider propecia. Could seriously mess up your sexual development if you are only 15.

It looks like male pattern baldness to me but I could be wrong. Post a pic of the top of your head

Any family history of early onset male pattern baldness? I have students about your age and see this kind of thinning in a few of them. Not sure if it's male pattern baldness or loss of juvenile hairline.

Well my dad only started losing hair in his 30s-40s and one of the uncles on my mother's side has lost hair and colour at an earlier age at around 20-30 but his brother has a full head of hair at 40 something. My brother however has thinned everywhere.

That's not a good sign. Baldness is unpredictable but if your brother has thinned then it could be the start for you too...

You need to see a hair loss specialist, ideally a hair transplant surgeon for a consultation. This does look a bit worrying. It may just be natural low density though, quite common in Asian people. If the density is higher on the back and sides then it is on top then that's a bad sign

The density on the top and back are fine, it's mostly the front sides that are thinning

This is how it looked like when it was fully shaved but the top is fine but the sides are still a problem.

bro for me that looks perfectly fine this is your hair texture . But you could see a doctor and jump on propecia at 18 for peace of mind.
